Garden Club Celebrates Arbor Day

The Canton Garden Club celebrated Arbor Day on April 27, 2012 by planting a new Stellar Pink dogwood tree at the Canton Public Library with the help of Absolute Landscaping, Inc. Every Arbor Day, the Canton Garden Club plants a tree in a public location in the town of Canton. These trees have grown and their branches have spread to enrich the town for years to come. Pictured are (l-r) Vicky Chaisson, Selectman Avril Elkort, Brendan Healy of Absolute Landscaping, Maribel Powell, Brian O’Toole of Absolute Landscaping, Roxy Gray, Fran Carleton, and Library Director Mark Lague.
